Both of these TV Dramas offer something interesting about how women are being represented. Watch the trailers for each programme (note there are two series available for each show) and consider the following questions).
  1. Who is the main character and how are they being represented in the trailers?
  2. How does this fit with your previous conceptions of female stereotypes?
  3. Research who produced and directed both shows and consider how this may alter the way the characters are constructed.
  4. Who is the target audience for these shows and how does this alter how they are being constructed by the director?
